Evangelism enhances the church’s ability to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Lord Almighty. This is essential to the growth of the Body because souls should be added daily. Our faith mandates that we be evangelistic in our efforts because we are evangelist from an evangelistic faith. Evangelists are proclaimers of the Good News. “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry” 2 Tim 4:5
Under the Ministry of Missions, Evangelism and Outreach
Evangelism – This ministry is all about winning souls for the Kingdom of God. Are you a soul winner? Do you burn with the desire to introduce people to your Savior? A ministry here at FWBF is the Praying for You Ministry. This is a door to door, grass roots approach to winning souls. This ministry team simply knocks on doors throughout the community and asks for prayer request. This powerful method opens many doors to not only homes but to hearts where we then are provided opportunities to share the Good News of the Gospel.
Mission & Outreach – What a wonderful thing it is to love and help people, especially the lost or unchurched. This is essential in helping people see and know the love of Jesus. As part of mission and outreach the Food Distribution Ministry is greatly needed and under development. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a ministry that is in its initial planning stage and which is in need of faithful servants. Many individuals and families are ministered to and this ministry needs those who don’t mind using their hands and feet to do God’s work.
